COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry of China has delivered the P-77 floating production, storage and offloading vessel to Brazil’s Petrobras, though it will be a few more months before the vessel starts operations at the Buzios pre-salt field.
The P-77 floater sailed away this week from Cosco’s facility in Dalian in northern China’s Liaoning province and will take about two months before it arrives in Brazil, where a local yard will do the final work on the unit.
