ExxonMobil and its partners in the P’nyang gas project in Papua New Guinea are focused on finalising a development agreement with the government in the coming weeks, writes Russell Searancke.

Co-owner Oil Search said that, with the Papua LNG Gas Agreement now finalised, its focus has turned to working with ExxonMobil, and the state “to close out an agreement for the development of the P’nyang field and the commencement of the FEED (front-end engineering and design) phase for the proposed three-train integrated development at the PNG LNG plant site”.
