Singapore-based Hoidi International and its Indonesia partner Swadaya Sarana Berlian (SSB) have agreed two separate memoranda of understanding with Chinese yard China Merchant Heavy Industry (CMHI) to build self-propelled and self-elevating platforms, writes Xu Yihe.
The first deal will commit Hoidi, SSB and CMHI to work together on a commercial contract, which is expected to be concluded next year.
The non-binding agreement involves building one lift boat using an Amerin 320 design plus an option for one more such unit.
