Japanese independent Inpex has awarded the final pre-front-end engineering and design contract for its Abadi liquefied natural gas project in Indonesia, writes Russell Searancke.
The pre-FEED contract for the subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines, and the gas export pipeline, was awarded to Japan's Chiyoda and Indonesian partner PT Synergy.
The pair will provide various engineering, safety and cost studies, as well as develop the future FEED scope of work.
