Papa Terra will feature the first Brazilian deployment of a dry-tree tension-leg wellhead platform serving a floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
Until recently it was thought that Petrobras would be able to produce first oil in July 2013 by means of the P-63 FPSO, while the P-61 TLWP was supposed to be online in October.
While first oil may still occur in the second half of 2013 solely from the FPSO — supplied by a Quip and BW offshore team — it appears that deployment of the TLWP may only take place in 2014.
