The development agreement that will underpin the Total-led Papua liquefied natural gas project in Papua New Guinea is on schedule for finalising before the end of this month.
Co-venturer Oil Search said the agreement — better known as the Gas Agreement — between the PNG government and the Papua LNG joint venture "is on track to be finalised by the end of this month, with signing in early April 2019".
