INPEX and its main onshore contractor in the US$34 billion Ichthys liquefied natural gas project in northern Australia are working intensely to keep the development on schedule.
The main LNG contractor is the JKC joint venture comprising industry heavyweights JGC, KBR and Chiyoda.
Inpex in January 2012 awarded the consortium a US$15 billion contract based on a mix of lump-sum turnkey, re-measurable and reimbursable elements.
