PARTNERS in the rejuvenated Buckskin project in the deep-water US Gulf of Mexico are understood to have quietly taken a final investment decision to develop the field as a multi-phase tie-back to the Lucius spar.
Two relative newcomers to the Buckskin project, now operated by Llog Exploration, have published materials indicating that the project has been sanctioned, with first oil expected in late 2019.
