A partnership between Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS), WesternGeco and TGS Nopec is busy with additional phases of seismic acquisition as part of the huge Sabah multi-client 3D survey off Malaysia. It is understood that 40,000 square kilometres of 3D data have already been acquired in the past two years, and PGS indicated that its acquisition vessel Ramform Hyperion was deployed recently for the sixth phase, which WesternGeco was also a part of.
