Gazprom Neft is in the process of drilling more development wells from the stationary platform at the field where production began in December 2013.
Romanenkov says that supplies of western-made equipment, machinery and goods to the platform are running uninterrupted despite the introduction of US and European sanctions against Russia last year.
International supplies to the platform fall under the US and European sanctions, as the installation lies north of the Russian Arctic circle.
