PEMEX is soliciting bids for a five-month, front-end engineering and design contract covering two fixed platforms at its Utsil field in the Mexican region of the Gulf of Mexico.
Natural contenders would be US player Wood Group Mustang and French outfit Doris Engineering, which both signed multi-year blanket agreements with Pemex last year for early engineering work and field-development solutions for some of the company’s most complex projects.
