Wood Group and Doris Engineering have both been awarded engineering work as state-run Mexican oil company Pemex begins to work up early field development solutions for inaugural deep-water discoveries in the Perdido fold belt.
The pair emerged victorious in a tender that drew interest from five or six contenders including KBR’s Granherne, Technip-owned Genesis and Intecsea, Upstream understands.
Wood Group Mustang and Wood Group Kenny said its share represents a three-year blanket project worth up to $28 million covering basic engineering and concept selection.
