Mexico’s Pemex has detailed the 21 shallow-water and onshore assignments it plans to offer in a new round of service contracts aiming to bring private sector know-how to boost production in mature fields, writes Kathrine Schmidt.

The state-led oil company’s offerings include fields such as Ayin in shallow waters and Cinco Presidentes onshore that were previously seen as farm-out opportunities under the administration of Mexico's former president Enrique Pena Nieto.
