Pemex has kicked off a restricted invitation tender process for the engineering, procurement and construction of two platforms for Yaxche-C and Onel-D in in the Bay of Campeche, writes Kathrine Schmidt.

Octavio Romero Oropeza, chief executive of the Mexican state-led oil company, told the Mexico Petroleum Congress in Leon, Guanajuato, last week that the two fields were the only pair with contracts pending in a group of what will become 22 priority projects under the administration of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
