Pemex has seen wide interest from companies following the launch of an international public tender to provide two drilling platforms for the Maloob field, called Maloob-E and Maloob-I.
A pair of meetings held to address questions around the pre-qualification process drew 19 attendees at the first and 21 at the second.
The list of players asking questions included Sapura, Permaducto, Operadora Cicsa, Ica Fluor, Subtec, Commsa, Eseasa, Dragados Offshore, Hoc Offshore and Arendal.
