Pemex is aiming in the coming months to release the details of a new service contract model designed to help reactivate mature fields in Mexico, but has not ruled out the possibility of future farm-out processes, writes Kathrine Schmidt.
The state-led Mexican oil company said last month it aimed to launch a new contract model that would provide incentives for contractors but also keep greater autonomy for Pemex as operator.
