Pemex is attracting interest from a range of players for a pair of tenders covering the revitalisation of mature fields throughout Mexico.
While the state-led company gained the ability under Mexico's energy reform to farm out assets and take on new partnerships, the company has also released revamped service contract processes aimed at revitalising production while maintaining operatorship.
Pemex launched the first such proceeding for the San Ramon and Blasillo fields in recent months, a process designed as the heir to previous service contracts but with more attractive terms for contractors.
