UK-based contractor TechnipFMC has been awarded an integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract for Shell’s Perdido phase two development in the US Gulf of Mexico.
The iEPCI award will see TechnipFMC deliver and install subsea equipment, including flexible flowlines, flexible jumpers, steel flying leads and electrical flying leads, while it will also utilise compact manifold technology on the contract.
