Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (Kufpec) has boosted its portfolio in Australia by taking up two new offshore exploration permits.
The company has been awarded 100% interests in blocks WA-538-P and WA-539-P, which were part of the Australian government's 2018 offshore licensing round.
Both permits are in the deep-water Exmouth Plateau area of the Carnarvon basin, and each contains previous non-commercial exploration wells.
