The deal includes the supply of a temporary storage unit and an accommodation barge by June and the delivery of a permanent storage floater within 7.5 months from the date of the award.
Pertamina Perkapalan is expected to seek an extension from Kodeco Energy for a marine tanker currently on contract in the offshore block.
The permanent FSO to be converted from marine tanker Gudondong and is scheduled to arrive on location in February, one source close to the development said.
