Indonesia’s national oil and gas upstream company Pertamina EP boosted its first half net profit by almost 25% to $361 million as global commodity prices rebounded.
The company’s income for the six months ended 30 June also increased year-on-year to $1.45 billion from $1.23 billion, according to Nanang Abdul Manaf, president director of Pertamina EP.
The state-owned player's oil and gas production averaged 252,529 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the first six months of 2018 versus 248,161 boepd in the same period last year.
