The feasibility study for the planned FSRU is under way and about half complete, according to Pertamina director for gas, Hari Karyuliarto.
Pertamina is said to prefer a conversion for this job as a newbuild would take more than three years and the intent is to lease a vessel to minimise the project’s capital expenditure.
Hari said that the expected cost would be between $60 million and $100 million for the onshore receiving facility.
