Tullow Oil expects “very shortly” to be reawarded offshore acreage in Peru that was rescinded last year following a change of government, writes Eoin O'Cinneide.
The company in early 2018 was awarded 100% stakes in blocks Z-64, Z-65, Z-66, Z-67 and Z-68 after agreeing a deal with state player Perupetro.
At the same time, it also took a 35% interest in Z-38 through a farm-in with Australian player Karoon Gas.
