The LNG project will buy 620 million cubic feet per day for an 18-year term that will begin once construction of the liquefaction train at Pampa Melchorita on Peru's Pacific coast is completed.
The majority of the gas will be supplied from block 56, Peru LNG partner SK of South Korea said.
Peru LNG is currently in advanced negotiations with a number of potential customers and hopes to sign some deals in the "near future".
