The company is wrapping up bid evaluation as offshore installation at the Chinook and Cascade fields moves into high gear. Both fields are being completed subsea for tie-back to what will be the first floating production, storage and offloading vessel ever installed in the deep-water US Gulf. With potentially as many as three vessels in the area at the same time plus a semi-submersible drilling rig, Petrobras is concerned about the potential for work delays due to vessels getting in the way of each other.
