Named after the world famous Argentinean dance, the Tango exploration well, however, is being drilled far away from the Spanish-speaking country.
Tango is in fact the second of a three-well wildcatting campaign taking place in the ultra-deepwater section of the Potiguar basin in the Brazilian equatorial margin, which recently was the object of interest from a number of operators during the country’s 11th oil and gas licensing round.
