It is understood that Petrobras invited international contractors such as Technip, Subsea 7, Boskalis, Sealion Shipping, Otto Candies, Bibby Offshore and many more to submit offers on 29 May for modern dynamically-positioned DSVs.
Petrobras is offering contractors the possibility to bid vessels for periods of one, two or three years, with options to renew the deal for the same timeframe. According to Petrobras, any chartered vessel should be delivered up to 180 days after the signing of the contract.
