Brazil's Petrobras has launched a tender to contract six remotely operated vehicles to carry out inspection and subsea intervention services at various offshore projects.

Industry sources told Upstream that Petrobras has invited more than a dozen players including Fugro, Oceaneering, Saipem, DOF Subsea and Veolia to submit commercial bids on 5 September.

Petrobras divided the tender into three packages, each aimed at contracting a pair of ROVs for a two-year period.
