PETROBRAS has launched tenders for the supply and deployment of two large floating production units in Brazil’s Santos basin pre-salt province, spurring a flurry of partnership talks and interest from new Eastern players.

One FPSO unit will be for developing the giant Libra field and the other is for Sepia, located on acreage where Petrobras was awarded sole production rights.
