The prototype for the subsea separation system was developed by FMC Technologies in partnership with Petrobras research and development division, Cenpes.
“Petrobras has finished reconfiguration work at its topsides facility, and they are now proceeding to commission the subsea separation system. We understand it will take another month or so for it to be operational,” said FMC Technologies chief executive John Gremp.
