Brazil’s Petrobras is set to receive commercial bids on 16 May in a tender for the charter of an accommodation and maintenance unit to run operations in the Santos basin pre-salt province.
According to a well-informed source, Petrobras decided to launch the tender after a successfully market inquiry carried out last October.
It is understood that Petrobras received a warm response from contractors offering available vessels in the market.
