Keo Lukefahr, the general manager for North American natural gas for PetroChina’s international subsidiary, said her company is seeking US partners for exporting liquefied natural gas to China.
However, Lukefahr expressed concern over the reliability of US LNG supplies.
“We’re not seeing it right now,” she said to delegates at the CWC LNG Americas conference in San Antonio, Texas, on Tuesday.
US LNG is “chaotic, highly unpredictable, speculative… and much of it looks like island infrastructure”.
