OMV Petrom has started a new offshore drilling campaign in the Black Sea, where the Romanian company plans to drill two wells.
Petrom, a subsidiary of Austrian player OMV, started work in a shallow area of its Istria block, where water depths are about 50 metres.
The two new wells will be drilled by the end of the year, according to the operator.
