Malaysia’s national upstream company Petronas Carigali is working with Indonesian authorities to resolve its failure to meet contractual gas deliveries from the Kepodang field off Indonesia after reserves depleted faster than expected, writes Amanda Battersby.
Petronas has declared force majeure at the Kepodang gas field, located on the Muriah production sharing contract, which came on stream in May 2015 and started commercial production later that year.
