Malaysia’s national oil and gas company Petronas is in discussions with other operators regarding the possible deployment of its floating liquefied natural gas solutions on third party assets around the world.

“It’s early days, but we have had those discussions, preliminary discussions, but hopefully it will come to fruition,“ said Petronas vice president global LNG projects, Adnan Zainal Abidin.

These projects would not necessarily be in Asia but “could be farther afield”, he told Upstream.
