Petronas is eyeing feed gas from NC3 and NC8SW, two of the three announced discoveries in the offshore block.
The proposed development on the table for the pair of gas fields is understood to include a central processing platform and two wellhead platforms plus some 210 kilometres of pipelines.
The design competition, which is expected to start in late July or early August, will likely involve the award of front-end engineering and design contracts to two engineering outfits.
