Malaysia’s national upstream company Petronas Carigali has embarked on a seismic survey along pipeline routes in waters off Sabah, East Malaysia.
Petronas is surveying two routes — from the Gumusut-Kakap project to the Sabah Oil & Gas Terminal (SOGT) and from the Kebabangan field, also to the SOGT at Kimanis, Sabah.
Malaysia-flagged vessel Cassandra VI is acquiring the seismic data in an operation that is scheduled to be completed on 15 September.
