Its first FLNG vessel is a 1.2 million tonnes per annum unit scheduled to start production at the Kanowit field off Sarawak.
Kanowit is currently hosting a central processing platform for the Kumang Cluster gas development.
Associated gas produced from the Kumang Cluster is being supplied to the MLNG 2 plant for export to East Asian markets.
By contrast, the output from the FLNG vessel being built for Kanowit is intended solely for domestic markets.
