Malaysia’s Petronas is on track to achieve commercial production this year from the world’s first floating liquefied natural gas vessel, which is being commissioned at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in Okpo, South ­Korea.

“We expect the first cargo to be in late quarter three, or early quarter four,” said Petronas chief executive Wan Zulkiflee Wan ­Ariffin.

“We will take the required time for commissioning.
