Petronas is investigating a fatal fire that broke out on board a specialised geotechnical vessel carrying out soil-boring activities for the national oil and gas company off Malaysia.
“The incident investigation is in progress to determine the causes of the incident and measures to be taken in preventing recurrence,” the Malaysian state oil giant said in a HSE notice seen by Upstream.
