A joint bid from Ilk Construction and Malaysia Marine Heavy Engineering is understood to have emerged as the frontrunner during the commercial round for the engineering, procurement and construction of the 6000-tonne Central Diyabekir wellhead platform.
The tender also attracted participation from at least two other group bids comprising interests from the Malaysian arm of Australia-listed Leighton Holdings and Malaysia’s KNM.
