Malaysia’s Petronas has agreed a deal for the long-term supply of liquefied natural gas to Switzerland-based trader Vitol that is mainly expected to come from the LNG Canada facility in British Columbia, writes Julia Martinez.

Vitol said it had signed a binding heads of agreement with Petronas for a sale and purchase agreement that would see Petronas LNG supply Vitol with up to 800,000 tonnes per annum of LNG.
