Sources said that France-based SofreGaz, Tractebel from Belgium, domestic player Engineers India, Tecnimont, global player Foster Wheeler and Fluor Daniel were likely to have submitted bids to Petronet LNG earlier this month.
UK-based Whessoe is also thought to have bid, sources added.
Petronet is likely to open the bids for the FEED contract in April. The engineering consultant will then have to present its report later this year.
