NELSON Queiroz Tanure Filho, chief executive of Brazilian independent PetroRio, cannot be described as a typical oil and gas company boss.
The 31-year-old executive has a different background than most of his peers, having never worked in the sector until three and a half years ago, when he orchestrated significant changes and a complete corporate overhaul at PetroRio.
“I am now an oil executive, but all my background is focused on management and efficiency,” says Tanure Filho.
