PetroVietnam is preparing to send a delegation to the US to meet with Chevron about the fate of the large Block B offshore gas project in Vietnam.
Sources said PetroVietnam officials had planned to travel before Christmas but may now post-pone until early in the new year.
PetroVietnam’s precise motives and agenda could not be confirmed as Upstream went to press,but what is known is that the Vietnamese national energy company is anxious to re-launch the development of Block B.
