Polish player PGNiG is set to boost its future Norwegian production after acquiring a 22.2% stake in the King Lear gas and condensate discovery in the North Sea from Total.
Total's sale follows the exit last year of former King Lear operator Equinor, leaving development of the high-pressure, high-temperature find to a new pair of owners led by operator Aker BP on 77.8%.
