Seismic contractor Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) has completed processing offshore data sets covering waters off Ivory Coast, with the results now available to interested oil companies, writes Barry Morgan.

The merged post-stack data sets comprise multiple surveys re-worked to a common grid, mostly beyond the 200-metre isobar.

According to PGS, the data is "ideal for the continued exploration for analogues of existing interests or identifying new prospects" in open acreage stretching from the deep-water south of Jacqueville to Block CI-700 near the Liberian maritime boundary.
