The Nordic Explorer has started gathering about 8500 kilometres of 2D seismic in an area running from Greece’s northern border with Albania to waters south of Crete.
A source said completion is targeted for the end of January next year. After this, the data will be analysed in preparation for the licensing round to be launched in early 2014, with awards expected in the fourth quarter of 2014.
