The geophysical giant Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) is still trying to gain regulatory approval for a large multi-client 3D and 2D seismic survey in the Great Australian Bight, writes Russell Searancke.

PGS first submitted its environmental plan application for the 30,100 square-kilometre Duntroon survey to the national petroleum regulator Nopsema in February 2017, but the application has bounced back and forth between the two.
