The Philippines is aiming to launch its next oil and gas licensing round, Philippine Energy Contracting Round 6 (PECR 6), in December despite the lacklustre response to the previous exercise opened three years ago.
“We are targeting December as our launching month. Hopefully we will be discovering additional reserves in future,” said Energy Resource Development Bureau assistant director Ismael Ocampo.
